Hyungjin (she/her) is a filmmaker and artist from Seoul, now based in New York City. She draws from her memories and family history, she creates stories about belonging, connection, and the nuances of love.

Her autobiographical animation “I Miss You [보고싶어요]” was recognized worldwide at festivals such as the Asian American International Film Festival, Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, and UNICA Korea International Film Festival. She wrote and directed an original play, “Someday [언젠가는]”, with Production Workshop (Providence, RI) in 2022. Her most recent work, “Stay With Me (everything will be okay)”, is screening worldwide at festivals such as the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and Queens World Festival.
